[Overview] The working principle of variable diameter airbag is to inflate with rubber airbag. When the gas pressure in the air bag reaches the specified requirements during the closed water test, the air bag will fill the entire pipe section, and the friction between the air bag wall and the pipe will be used to stop the leakage, so as to achieve the goal of water impermeability of the target pipe section.

During pipe plugging and other operations, special personnel shall be assigned to monitor and check the air pressure of the reducing airbag, maintain good and stable communication with the personnel at the operation site, and timely report any abnormal situation to ensure the safety of the staff. So far, the water plugging operation test under normal conditions has been completed and the destructive operation test has entered.
Before the experiment, check again whether there is anyone near the operation area; Because the valve is closed well in this test, there is only a small amount of residual water. In order to simulate the continuous water flow in the future construction, we slightly open the valve in the water flow direction, and the water starts to flow into the pipeline. After 5 minutes, the reducing airbag slides, the water valve is immediately closed, and the destructive test is completed. Before the test, make sure that no one is around, otherwise serious casualties may occur.
1. Check whether the surface of the reducer airbag is clean, whether there is dirt attached and whether it is in good condition. Fill a small amount of air and check whether the accessories and air bags leak. Enter the pipeline for plugging operation after confirming that it is normal.
2. Pipe inspection: Before pipe plugging, check whether the inner wall of the pipe is smooth and whether there are sharp objects such as protruding burrs, glass, stones, etc. If there are any, remove them immediately to avoid piercing the air bag. After the airbag is placed in the pipeline, it shall be placed horizontally without distortion to avoid gas stagnation and airbag explosion.
3. Air bag accessories connection and leakage inspection: (accessories can be optional) First connect the air bag accessories for closed water test, and then use tools to check whether there is any leakage. Extend the water blocking air bag of the pipeline, connect it with the accessories and inflate it until it is basically full. When the pointer of the pressure gauge reaches 0.01Mpa, stop inflating, evenly smear soapy water on the surface of the air bag and observe whether there is air leakage.
4. Part of the air in the water blocking reducing airbag of the connecting pipe is discharged through the nozzle and put into the airbag. After the airbag reaches the designated position, it can be inflated to the specified pressure through the rubber tube. When inflating, the pressure in the airbag shall be uniform. When inflating, the airbag shall be inflated slowly. If the pressure gauge rises quickly, inflation is too fast. At this time, slow down the inflation speed and reduce the air intake speed. If the speed is too fast and the rated pressure is exceeded, the air bag will burst.
5. Clean the airbag surface immediately after use. The airbag can be put into storage only after checking that there is no attachment on the airbag surface.
6. The air bag can only be used in a round tube, and the inflation pressure cannot exceed the allowable higher inflation pressure.
